Day 5 (August 17, 2010)

Announcements:

You need to get any supplies on the list that you do not currently have, they are all important and required.

Please turn in your blue menu applications.

Remember that book orders are due by Sept. 3rd

What we did today:

We did our 2nd math lesson, and started on the MACRO review book. We were also able to grade the math homework in class because you all did so well and finished so fast.

We read for DEAR time. You are doing much better.

The following directions activity was fun, but also kind of serious. You all (except the 3 who followed all the directions) need to work on reading all directions before jumping into anything.

We had a blast trying to read the Social Studies newspapers. Remember that the period at the end of a sentence is a STOP sign. Do not want to keep rereading the same thing or get a reading ticket for running a stop sign.

You did really well during the band and orchestra assembly. Remember if you join you are making a committment to the band/orchestra and to yourself to do all the required work in and out of class.

Homework:

Read for 30 minutes-record what your read and what it was about in your homework notebook and then have  your parents sign.

Math Lesson 2 #1-25 odd
MACRO Lessons 1-2

EVERY STUDENT IN THIS CLASS HAS TURNED IN 100% OF THEIR HOMEWORK FOR 3 DAYS IN A ROW!!!
