"So please, oh PLEASE, we beg, we pray,
Go throw your TV set away,
And in its place you can install,
A lovely bookshelf on the wall."
— Roald Dahl, author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Announcements:

Hope that your New Year is wonderful and full of learning.

Our field trip is tomorrow!

4th graders, you will be testing in Mrs. Nelson's room starting at 8:30. So be here on time tomorrow.

What we did today:

We started a lifetime time line in math. You measured out 1 foot of measuring tape for every calendar year you have been alive. Next you marked each foot of the tape. Tomorrow we will continue to work on this project.

Homework:

Read for at least 60 minutes each night. Record what you read on your reading log and roadrunner tale.

Continue working on your homework packet that is due Friday.
