Day 6 (August 18, 2010)

Announcements:

Wednesday Envelopes went home today.
Remember to bring back those health forms.
We have gotten a star in 5 out of 6 specialist classrooms.

What we did today:

We did another lesson in math. Some of you are struggling with basic math concepts and really need to practice your math facts.

We discussed the district code of conduct (amazing how much it sounds like what we already do in class everyday).

We finished reading our Social Studies newspaper and now we get to start the activities.

D.E.A.R. time was a bit off and you ended up writing about what you read instead of just being able to enjoy reading. Please remember to treat each other with respect. You need to read during this time and not disturb others.

We also began a unit on goal. We are learning what a goal is, and will be learning to set both short and long term goals.

Homework:

Math lesson 2 Problems 1-30 Even
MACRO Math lesson 3-4
Read for 30 minutes

EVERY STUDENT IN THIS CLASS HAS TURNED IN 100% OF THEIR HOMEWORK FOR 4 DAYS IN A ROW!!!
