Day 4-August 16, 2010

Announcements:

Remember your blue meal applications.
Get your supplies as soon as possible in order to be prepared for class.
Practice those math facts, using the online flashcards.
Tomorrow is a band and orchestra assembly at 2:30.


What we did today:

We finished up the math and writing assessments.
We passed out the math books and did our first lesson in our new math notebooks.
We passed out MACRO math review that we will start tomorrow.
We learned about what a community was and how our classroom is a community.
We set up our class rules and expectations.
We had D.E.A.R. time, which is our Drop Everything and READ time.

Class Rules and Expectations:

RESPECT is our only rule

Doing our best everyday is the EXPECTATION.

Homework:

Read for 30 minutes and record in your reading/math notebook. (Don't forget to bring it to school everyday!)
