Day 2-August 12, 2010

Wow, we have already finished 2 days of the school year. There are only 176 school days left to learn everything we need to this year.

Today's summary:

We wrote about what we did this summer (at least 1 paragraph with 5-8 sentences). We also wrote a letter to ourselves talking about what we are good at, things we are nervous or scared about, and areas we need help.

We started our begining of the year assessments with a math placement test. (ugh, tests already ;-) We will continue testing over the next week.

Finally, we learned how to find our class webpage so that we can read all these cool things and know what is going on in class even if we are absent.

Today's Homework:

Read for 30 minutes-Remember to write down what you read, and have your parent's sign the paper. Don't forget your name so that you get credit for the work.

Remember to bring back your meal application (the blue forms sent home on Wednesday) as soon as possible.

See you tomorrow for another great day.
